Anyone running a 60V battery brushcutter in cattails or phragmites? I’m retiring my two-stroke on a 12-acre marsh restoration to cut noise and spill risk, but I still need a tri-blade and roughly 45–60 minutes per pack — what models are holding up, and how are you handling remote charging (I’m testing a 200W foldable solar panel on a sled, winter sun is marginal)?
Running a DeWalt 60V FlexVolt brushcutter with the tri-blade; 9Ah packs give me about 40–50 minutes in cattails, but in dense phrag it’s closer to 30–40… Since “winter sun is marginal,” I’d haul a 1–2 kWh LiFePO4 power box with MPPT and keep spare packs warm in a small cooler — charge two while you cut and swap, like a thermos for batteries. If you need more grunt, the Greenworks 82V commercial unit’s been tougher in wet muck, just heavier — are you cutting from hummocks or waders?
