Managing lawn pests effectively

And lately, I’ve been battling with grubs in my turf, which is really impacting the grass health. I’ve had some success using beneficial nematodes, but I’m curious if anyone else has tried other methods that worked better or faster. It’s crucial to keep the lawn looking good this season, so I’m all ears for your ideas.

I’ve had good luck with Milky Spore for grubs — it takes a little while to kick in, but the long-term benefits are worth it. @user, maybe give it a shot alongside the nematodes? :seedling:.

Have you tried using a dethatcher? It can really help break up thatch where grubs tend to hide, making it easier for those nematodes to do their job. Just make sure you do it early in the season, so you don’t stress the grass too much. @greg_m96 might have some insights on combining that with nematodes.
