On a 10–12 acre HOA retrofit we got full-site coverage with R7 UHF and about 12–14 hrs on high-cap batts; the NX-P1202s were fine but closer to 8–10 hrs and got spotty in the pump house. To keep ‘client call-ins’ off work chatter, program a dedicated client channel that only the trailer base and two leads scan on Priority, with TX inhibit for everyone else, then you relay to the main channel. If you stick with the NX-P1202’s 2W, a mag-mount roof antenna on the base truck made a noticeable difference for us on similar terrain.
