I’ve been experimenting with companion planting lately, and the results have been fascinating. For instance, planting marigolds alongside tomatoes not only deters pests but seems to boost their growth. Has anyone else tried this technique, and what combinations have worked well for you?
I love that marigolds are like the bouncers of the vegetable garden, keeping the pests away! I’ve had good luck with basil and tomatoes too; they say basil enhances the flavor of tomatoes. Have you thought about trying herbs along with your other plants?
I’ve had success pairing carrots and onions — they seem to help each other thrive while keeping pests at bay. Have you tried that combo before, @juliaC_84?
