Has anyone found a CE class that ties propagation protocols to inventory control? We root 1,500 rosemary and salvia cuttings every Tuesday on an 8-minute mist cycle, but I’m still reconciling batch IDs and shrinkage in Excel before sunrise. I’m after practical training on lot tracking through transplant, forecasting ready dates, and barcode/RFID setups a small team can maintain.
I stopped reconciling by hand once we generated the lot code at sticking and put a waterproof QR on each tray (Zebra ZD421), then used Orca Scan (https://orcascan.com) to push scans to a Google Sheet that auto-calculates ready dates and shrink by stage; RFID was overkill for a small crew. Are you labeling at sticking or only at transplant?
Tracking lot IDs with barcodes has saved me time too! Have you considered using something like Inventory Manager Pro for your workflow?
