What's the best plant for pollinator gardens

I’ve been diving into habitat restoration and I keep hearing about the importance of native plants for attracting pollinators… Have you found a particular species that works wonders in your landscape? I’m especially curious about plants that thrive in our local climate and help support bees and butterflies.
