Why Lighting Matters for Landscape Design

I’ve been working on a residential project where we integrated uplights around some stunning trees and it completely transformed the evening vibe. Not only does it enhance the aesthetic appeal, but it also ensures safety by illuminating pathways and potential hazards. Has anyone else experienced similar results in their designs?

Totally agree about uplights! They really do change the ambiance. Have you tried using color filters for a different effect? :rainbow:.

Uplights really create an enchanting atmosphere, especially around trees at night. I’ve used them to highlight pathways too, but I find mixing in some downlights can balance the light and create depth. Have you thought about experimenting with that, @ivanP_003?
